Rocking and refreshing, Allura’s debut EP is a tantalizing taste of bigger things to come. From the word , go, Allura draws you into their world of pop-tempo rock with the opening ‘Liberty with Wings’. The rest of the ride is riot punctuated by the mood inducing ‘Gamajazillion’ and finally ending with the stadium-rousing anthem of ‘Ladela’. Wake up and Smell the Seaweed will suck you into the whirlpool of youthful vibrancy, with the almost pixie-like quality of front woman Inch Chua, flanked delicately by the furious but precise guitar stabs of guitarist Aaron Wong and Mark John and supported by the explosive rhythm machine of Low Han Quan and punchy bass growl of Matthew Yap.
The EP defies any attempts to be submerged into the depths of boring rock. Uplifting and emotionally addictive, their debut outing delivers candy-sweet pop melodies and, leaving the listeners craving for more.
Conceived in early 2007, Allura is a five-piece band infusing a different variety of influences, from jazz to alternative, from experimental to indie – portrayed in the form of rock.
Allura wears the badge of youthful rock proudly on their chest, ready to shout form any tall building in the gloomy urban landscape. Full of unfettered energy and conviction, Allura always delivers with bravado without tomorrow, with singer Inch Chua as the energetic lead dancer in the rock symphony phenomena that is Allura.
Accompanied by the vicious licks and kicks of guitarist Aaron Wong and Mark John Hariman, the dueling guitars pin down all listeners in the audience with breath taking gusto. Always there to hold the soaring melodic lines down are drummer Low Han Quan and bassist Matthew Yap, holding the groove and moving the band with pulsating rhythm. Surrender your deepest reservations; get ready to heed Allura’s call.
Since late 1999, B-Quartet has been wandering. The band disregards genres and conventions in search for the proper musical language to express the ideals which they hold dear to their hearts. The language conveyed isn’t about being unconventional but about challenging conventions varying from songwritting to delivery.
Being winners of the 2002 Yamaha Asian Beat band competition, B-Quartet is made up of two pairs of brothers who happen to be cousins as well. They blend funk, jazz, metal and progressive rock into a blindingly tight set, reflecting their electric taste in music. Playing with a telepathic ability, their technical prowess on their instruments and their exquisite vocal harmonies have enchanted and mesmerized audiences, winning them fans everywhere they go.
They have been hailed as one of Singapore’s “most exciting live acts” by The Straits Time Life! music journalist Sujin Thomas in his article on B-Quartet in his Friday 6 May 2005 article.
Editor of online KL-based music site Think.com.my, Chris Crew votes B-Quartet as the best Singapore act for Baybeats 2007, “Expanding to a six-man lineup, B-Quartet’s bipolar collection of jazz-rock tunes haunted their way into total recall, particularly ‘Shoebox’ with its progressive swells and thoroughly gorgeous melody.”
BBV Production together with Tower of Doom Records presents “Metal Blast” on September 25, 2009, 7:00pm at Padis Point Dagupan featuring three of Philippines metal band…Valley of Chrome, April Morning Skies and Imbue No Kudos, also participated by Dagupan’s finest metal bands.

Listening to Squeezers is the aural equivalent of thinking happy thoughts. While it does not make you fly like that boy from, their, at the very least, brings a smile to your face. The Taguig City-based quartet’s current lineup consists of Byron Ricamara on vocals and guitar, Judith Abad on bass, Jeremy John Ricamara on drums and Clifford Jongko on guitar. The band’s music can be best described as “fun rock.” The positivity is present even in its most poignant moments—the band’s carrier single “Nagbabalik” being a case in point—and is most felt in the album and show-opener “Field Trip,” a song about, well, grade school field trips. The theme is carried though Highway Eskinita, the band’s debut album, from the beginning until the epic 10-minute title track. Listening to the album just might be the most fun-filled hour in your life.
Squeezers is currently working on promoting the album including mall shows, bar gigs, and had made appearances in various media including radio and television. When not doing promotions the band is writing and developing material for a follow-up release. Some of the new songs are being performed during their shows, so make sure to catch them when you can
The band’s current album, Highway Eskinita, includes ten songs and features the singles “Nagbabalik” and “Paminsan-Minsan Lang Naman,” released under Gusi Records and distributed by D’Concorde Recording Corp, available nationwide at all Odyssey and SM Record Bars nationwide
