On October 5, 2008 (Sunday), the Jesus is Lord Church through the leadership of Bro. Eddie Villanueva, will be celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary at Luneta Grandstand, 4pm. The event will be webcasted by Bitstop.
The STI Education Services group (STI ESG) is the Philippines largest network of colleges, and is one of the country’s leading providers of quality Information and Communications Technology (ICT) learning. Established in August 21, 1983, STI ESG has a network of over 100 colleges and education centers here and abroad, offering ICT-centered education from pre-school to professional learning. STI has a base of more than 50,000 students nationwide that supports all its events.
On Friday, August 29, 2008, STI will be celebrating its 25th anniversary at the Aliw Theater, Star City, CCP Complex, Pasay City. This event is an annual gathering of STI Students nationwide and the celebration will highlight the Grand National Finals of the STI TALENT SEARCH 2008 competitions. These are Battle of the Bands, STI Idol Singing Contest, the Hataw Sayaw Group Dancing Contest and the much anticipated finals search for Mr. and Ms. STI 2008. All roads lead to Star City at the CCP Complex as more than Fifteen thousand (15,000) STI students will be at hand to visit the bustling city of Pasay.

On the first and second elimination of the Tunog Bangus Battle of the Bands most of the bands are heavy rockin’ kids showcasing thier great talents. Who could emagine that this young kids made the night of everyone feel like they are just in the heart of holliwood rock in roll wolrd.Dagupeños had proven that there’s a lot of local talents that should be given a chance to have some exposure and give an attention by talent holders that they can go out, kick and rockin’ and make some noise with a great music that everyone should hear.

Dagupan, Pangasinan is known as home of the best tasting Bangus (Milkfish) in the Philippines. And to celebrate the annual bountiful harvest, the people of Dagupan will once again celebrate the Bangus Festival. Various events are lined up during the entire fiesta season. The Social Action Apostolate of the Lingayen-Dagupan Archdiocese, which coordinated Lozada’s April 4 visit, put up the streamers. But the streamers have disappeared before the visit of whistle-blower Rodolfo “Jun” Lozada Jr.
Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Oscar Cruz lead the celebration of a “Mass for Truth, Justice and Peace.” and after the mass Lozada had spoke at a public forum at the Dagupan Astrodome.
